Very impressive interpretation...depth and warmth of tone... The violin sounds lively and radiant. This is a very exciting recording, which I will certainly buy as soon as it is released (about J.Brahms's Sonata E -flat major Op.120 No.2 for violin and piano).

Dear Yuri.
Just had a chance now to hear your recording of Brahms/Schnittke - it's very fine indeed. I did not look at the opus numbers and as the music started, I jumped up, realizing it was the viola sonata in E flat! One season I also decided to play it, and it turned out that many other violinists (Stern, Zukerman ) were also doing it then. I never felt that the violin was an appropriate, because of the inability of using the high register of the instrument, but your performance convinced me of the feasibility.
Best regards.
Sidney.
